VINTAGE FIESTA DINNERWARE SMALL 4 1/2" FRUIT BOWLS
Here are ALL the vintage fiesta colors.
Clockwise-Starting from top: Turquoise, Gray, Rose, Red, Ivory, Yellow, Chartruese, Light Green, Medium Green, Forest Green, and Cobalt.
Since the Medium Green version of this bowl is worth hundreds of dollars, it's important to know the difference between the rare Medium Green and its more common counterpart, the first green. There's at least one way to tell even if you don't know y our colors: the bottom of the 50's and later (that means the elusive Medium Green as well) is always wiped dry and not fully glazed like the earlier bowls.
The only reason this isn't a sure fire way to always distinguish the two greens is because you will still find Original Green being produced into the 50s.
Notice that the original 6 color bowls all have fully glazed bottoms (some have dry white feet as well), but I have yet to find a fruit bowl from the 50's colors with a fully glazed foot... This is a pretty good way to decide if yours is medium green or not. If it is fully glazed then it is surely not MG.
