VINTAGE FIESTAWARE CREAM SOUP BOWLS
The tab handled cream soup bowl is one of the most iconic designs of the Fiestaware pottery line. Highly used in advertising of the period this bowl is extremely desirable and always a favorite among collectors. The foot is hand turned and the lug handles were applied by hand. Discontinued shortly after the 1959 release of medium green, the cream soup bowl in medium green can be one of the hardest pieces to find, commanding high prices.
Dimensions:
6 1/2" w from tab to tab x 2 1/4" high, 5 1/16" from rim to rim and 2 13/16" across bottom foot. Marks:
Unmarked, or inmold mark.
Years of production:
1936 - 1959 (time-out for war-time red)
