Here is a full nested set. Unless you are lucky enough to buy a full complete set it is hard to put together a well nested set. The older bowls (pre-1938) with rings on the bottom prove to be slightly different widths and heights and many times a bowl will appear out of round and simply not nest well. This particular set (no. 1 - 6) all came together and I think this color combination was a promotional set, more common than others, because it seems these colors in these sizes (for example a red no. 4 and cobalt no. 2 and green no. 6) are more previlant than other colors in these sizes. The red no. 7 here is a marriage that just happens to fit nicely. Numbered on the bottom #1-#7, stamped in mold or sometimes ink stamped or sometimes both. The oldest bowls have rings on the bottom inside the bowl. A feature that was discontinued very early on (making rings on the bottom one of those desirable collectables). Numbers one and seven are hardest to come by. Red seems to demand the highest prices.
