FIESTA BOWL: INDIVIDUAL SALAD

VINTAGE FIESTA DINNERWARE INDIVIDUAL SALAD BOWL

One of the latest arrivals to the Fiesta dinner line, the individual salad bowl wasn't modeled until 1959, the first new item to be added since 1940. A very similar sized bowl was originally designed for the line, but never put into production, instead the inside rings were removed and it was sold with the Harlequin line as a salad bowl.

The Fiesta Individual Salad bowl was only made in Medium Green (shown here), Red, Turquoise and Yellow. I have had a hard time finding yellow ones.

Medium Green Individual Salad shown with Red Kitchen Kraft Spoon . These bowls are often confused with the more common Harlequin Individual Salad Bowls, which have no interior rings.

Dimensions:
7 1/2" wide from edge to edge x 2 1/2" tall, 4" across base.

Marks:
In the mold mark or Inkstamp "GENUINE fiesta H-L-Co USA"

Years of production:
1959 - 1969 (4 colors only - late piece)
